Icing On The Cape
is recruiting skaters of all ages and skating abilities
for our 2009 –2010 season.
Synchronized skating is performed by a group of 8-20 athletes and incorporates aspects of singles, pairs, and ice dancing into a team sport. It is a highly technical form of figure skating characterized by speed, accuracy, intricate formations and breathtaking transitions.
In just 3 years, Icing On The Cape has grown from one team of 8 skaters to two teams of 23 skaters, and we plan to field 3 teams for next season. Come join the newest discipline of figure skating, make lasting friendships, and experience the thrill and excitement of Synchronized Skating!
2009-2010 Teams:
Beginner: Basic 5 and above
Juvenile: Preliminary MIF and above, must be under 13 as of 7/1/09
Intermediate:
Pre-Juvenile MIF and above, must be under 18 as of 7/1/09
